Okay...feel dumb asking...but does anyone have any tips on siphoning? My husband and I tried to get the siphon started for an hour today...we accomplished nothing but upsetting our fish. Is there an easy way to get the flow started? We suck! No pun intended! ;)

I got some snails and algae from the ocean today. Can I add them to my tank and feed the algae to my tang? Is there something I need to do to it first?

I've never seen anything like this. My snail was certain he was not going to go around the anemone...so he went right UNDER it. Funny to watch. Lucky he didn't get a good sting. Or maybe he did?! :shock:

I have a red crab that's been hanging out on my Seabee. Is my Seabee dying? I assume the crab would get stung?! My Seabee hasn't been happy for about a week now...(my nitrates are still at 25, regardless of my efforts). I just want to make sure I get my Seabee out before it stings...

I bought a new cup coral in hopes that my clownfish would host something other than the corner of my tank. Unfortunately, my cardinal is hogging it. He hasn't moved an inch away from it since I put it in the tank yesterday! lol

I've had my seabae anemone a few weeks now...maybe a month even. When I got it, it was stark white. It seems to have darkened ever so slighty...isn't it supposed to get more brownish? My condy was very white also when I bought it. Now it's a nice, healthy brown. Don't seabeas to the same thing?

I received copepods and microalgae from reefpods today. They came with very little directions. It says not to refrigerate and safe to add to refugium or DT...and that's about it. Do I dump the whole bag in? It's 7oz. It says the live for 4 wks. Does that mean I use a little a day?
