Just an FYI for anyone with cyano, turning off your lights will not affect it. It's not a type of algae but a bacteria. Just cyphon it out and do a couple of more larger water changes, waterflow increase helps as well. Worked for me after dealing with it on and off for about 3 months.

I have had my Foxface for about 4 months, not once did he go after algae sheets. My lfs showed me this new "liquid" algae made by Instant Ocean, the Foxface goes nuts over it. It comes in individual packets...try it! Loves brine and mysis as well.

Yes, the Bellus Angel only grows to about 3 1/2 inches....I think. I need to google that puppy!:shock:

Reeffreak, are you sure about the sexy shrimp? I heard if you have the ornamental shrimp in the tank then add a small Hawk you should be ok. Granted any fish who is hungry may eat what they need to feed themselves. My Flame is just over an inch long, very docile but then again I only have a...

They "may" go after ornamental shrimp. That being said, if fish are not fed regularly they may go after smaller prey. I have a skunk cleaner but that's it, no peppermints. When I tell you that the Hawk is about as peaceful as any reef fish, it is all over the tank, rocks and loves to sit...

They run around $40! You will NOT be disappointed!

Conchs, Nasarius snails (lots) sand sifting star, sand sifting gobie, and Urchins! Probably too many sand sifters but the sand is white!

They do NOT jump (I know mine hasn't) and they are more than reef safe! As my LFS guy says, "No reef tank is complete without a Hawkfish!"
