I bought a phosphates test kit yesterday and Im getting a reading of 2.0. Ive tested multiple times and keep getting the same reading. What could be causing the high level and what can i do to get rid of it?

This is what my sandbed looks like. Ive also got this neon green algae growing on my rocks and shells that are on the sandbed. What should i do? By the way i just added quite a bit of chaeto to my sump today. I'm hoping this will help with the green algae.

My moon brain has two heads on it that look like their rotting away. The color is gone and I can see the skeleton. All other corals look fine so far.Any comments on what could be causing this?

I currently have 10 blue leg hermits, 10 turbo snails, 2 Nass snails, a sand sifting star, and a peppermint shrimp. There is still quite a bit of algae on the glass and detruis on the rocks and sand. What else should I get to help? This is a 55 gallon tank.

Im just wondering about how long before i should start seeing some good coralline spreadage if thats a word. Ive got it spreading on the rocks a little bit but nothing on the glass of pumps or nothing. Is there a time frame or does it just depend on my tank?

I bought a zoanthid frag and a pulsing xenia frag yesterday. The zoos opened up in like 10 minutes. The Xenia is open but not pulsing. There not really open there just kinda pointing up. Im thinking i may have it in to much flow. I really want it to start pulsing. Any advice? Will post pics soon.:D

I have a t5 with 4 bulbs. I need to replace the bulbs and am wondering what's the best combo of bulbs to have to support a reef tank.
