Seems everyone has their own view, and like I said get told several different things. Just makes no sense...

Well, the main issue is I hear several different ways to determine how many fish. Depend son inches per gallon, then if some are perchers, and so on... If I can;t get the fish to look at, I am not spending $1000 on it. I can never get a 100% answer and when I want something, then get told...

Why only 2-3 fish? I will be getting more perchers than anything. Green clown goby, Mandarin, and sand sifting goby. Pair of clowns and Coral beauty is others.

Looks as if we are going with a 29 gallon biocube. Our landlord doesn't want too much water in the house so this is what we have to work with until we buy. So my question is about clams, does the stock lighting work for a clam? Next is cleaner shrimp, crabs, and snails. What would be efficient...

Ah, ok. But wouldn't after a while of having the proper community be a lot easier to deal with? You only replace water when levels are high correct?

So you are basically changing out ALL of your water over a weeks course? Wouldn't having ceratin cleaners, corals, and crustaceans help with levels?

Is there anyone who does not replace per month? Is it possible to have a perfect running environment where levels stay fine? Or you just have to replce no matter what?

When deciding our tank, this is also something I want to keep in mind. How much and how often do you guys change/replace water in reef tanks with fish?

The 29 gallon I have is a Marineland with Eclipse 3 filter. I have the 14 gallon bio cube as well, but selling the 14 gallon bio cube.

I am starting a subwoofer company and will be traveling to shows over the weekends sometimes and need to be able to leave the tank alone for 1-2...

Ah. Well the tank we are looking at is 75 gallon but long. A good guess is 4.5-5 feet maybe.

I think we are going to get a 75 - 125 gallon :) Tangs are on the list and also like the rabbitfish I seen other day. Sadly I have to get a dwarf lion, can;t get the big boy :p

I think I will leave seahorses alone. I want a reef as well and this 29 gallon isn't going to work with a reef. I may sell the 14g bio cube and just grab one aquarium now. Sould be able to get $190 for a BNIB 14g bio cube haha.

That may not be a good idea for me then. With my business I will be out a weekend a month to shows and need somethin able to survive 2-3 nights by themselves to be safe.

REALLY? I heard a smaller aquarium is best for them being horrible swimmers and easier to feed in small environment.
