ok so i have a mainland penguin filter the ones with the bio wheel are they bad should i remove the wheel..buying a new filter is not going to happen right now

i just put together a pvc overflow from a design i found on the web ill post some pix on my sump just to show how it sets in the aquarium it dosnt fit the sump well

whenever the tank gets dark and the wrasse hasn't burrowed she gets scared and hides by rocks and tries borrowing. dose anyone else have a wrasse that dose this?

okay so i originally ordered 2 36" 78wat light fixtures from aquatraders.com upon my ordering i received a message saying they were out of stock and i could substitute my order with 156 watt 36" light i asked if there was going to be an adjustment in price they said" yes their will be a change...

i just put in a wrasse like 5 hrs ago and saw him saround eight we i turnd out my lights now hes completly gone i hv no clue were he is i turned the lights back on trying to find him i found my two clowns my chromis my peperment and even one of my emereld crabs but no wrasse.. is he jsut hiding?

okay so i just order 2 36in t5 lights their 156 watts together how would i mange to mount them on my 30 inch tank is their any other way to other thn suspending them? if so dose some one hv a pic or drawing to show this thanks ..Kris

This is my first saltwater tank...i should have started this thread a while ago but this is wher my tank is at curently. it is a 37 gallon tank with a marineland 150wat heater a marineland 200 penguin filter. 10 lbs live rock 10 lbs base rock 20lbs live sand. curent live stock one...

okay i have two hermits one is twice the size of the other.. today i noticed the large crab on top of the small ones shell.. then near them i noticed two little blue legs and some crab flesh..so i garbed the big crab and moved him he had all his legs but the little one is missing two on one side...

how hard are these to take care of it says expert care only why?

can i keep feather dusters and sponges in a tank with a standard florescent hood?

what are these guys are they good or bad? they look like tiny shirmp to me am i wrong? also what are these? little sponges? goood bad? thank you
