I have news for you guys! I've just added a Kenya Tree frag and some dry rock to my tank, in order to change the aquascape a little bit. The Goniopora is long dead, but he is now a very pretty decorative item! I have also changed my RO-system and the salt. I now have RedSea salt, which...

My LFS sent me a mail this morning, saying the animals had arrived yesterday and the prices have been fixed. I saw the numbers, which were horrible, and immediatly started thinking of what I will do. I went there, trying to find a good excuse on the way. It turned out it wasn't neccesary: the...

    Sixline red spot

Yesterday she was ok, but now she has a red-orange spot near the end of her dorsal fin. It is either some sort of sting from my hammer, a disease or a scratch. You can still see the colours of her lines crossing the spot and there is no blood or tissue necrosis. Do you know what it might be? Is...

    pest anemones?

Suck the ones on the gravel with a pipe. They won't even have time to react! For those on the rocks, use Aiptasia X or peppermint shrimps.

    dwarf lionfish

You know both eels and lionfish can cohabitate perfectly with corals, clams, sponges, gorgonians etc. I would say those are good enough to be called a reef.

pink spotted goby a good idea?

4 fish are OK in your tank. Mine has 2 clowns, 1 sixline and a blenny. The goby is almost the same regarding bioload. You should be fine with those 4.:D

    Acclimation for hermits and snails

I keep reading about this on different sites and it seems there's nothing truely clear... Some palces just say ''for invertebrates that are more sessile'' preferably use the drip method over a period of 2 hours.(ex:LiveAquaria) But here: ReefCleaners.org | Clean Up Crews and Macro Algae -...

More good news! Just got some more solutions today from a good friend. I love the Microbe Lift products. He imports them directly from America. Also got a box of JoesJuice to kill my Aiptasias and best of all, he gave me some GSP as a gift! In 3 days they will be fully open and shiny!
