    Baby nass snails?

I've found these hanging out on the glass, back wall and on top of the sand. Can anybody confirm if they are nassarius snail babies? You can see them in the corner and around the return. Thanks

14 gallon Bio cube black sand

Here are some pics from tonight. I took out the tube snails a while ago but thanks for the heads up. I've noticed some new critters cruising around lately that I think are baby nass snails. Maybe someone could give me a possitive ID them. There are about 8 - 13 of them that cruise the glass...

    Green things in my sand.

Lately I have been plucking these little green things out of my sand. They have 5 or so long arms that stick out of the sand, They anchor themselves about a quarter inch under the sand. I cant tell if they are just algae or actual creatures. I would like some help identifying them and if I need...

What do I have to do if I'm forced to use tapwater?

HAHA You can get some really good deals on Craigslist. Install is quick and simple. Just go buy one, the money will be well spent and save you money and frustration in the long run. Both with your tank and your GF. Its much easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

Thanks everyone, is it the lack of lighting back there that will slow the process down?

If I put dry rock rubble in the second chamber will it become live after a while or does it need to be live before it goes back there? Thanks

    Biocube 14 build thread

I have the 14 gallon Biocube as well. I have 2 clowns and the normal CUC. The mechanical filtration I have is the sponge in the pump chamber, bio balls and I use filter floss on the grate over chamber 2. I dont use the filter cartridge anymore. I also removed some of the plastic that restricts...

    BioCube Light Question

One of the switches went out on my BC so I bypassed it and put it on a mechanical timer. The switch sounded real rough so I'm assuming it got salt in in it some how.

    Something blue for my tank

I have the stock lighting. The bulbs were replaced about 3 months ago. Reading up on the clam I'm not sure my lighting would support it. I do like it though. I called my LFS today to price out and check the availabilty of the Blue sponge. They want $100.00 for a small one....no thanks:grumble:.

    Fishy's 10g Urchin Jail

HAHA I laughed at that too! Should be a pretty cool build. What size Korilas did you get? I've been wondering if I need more flow in my 14 gallon BC. I had one for a while but didnt really like the way it looked in the tank. What is the smallest one they make!
