I would do 25% water changes to help it along a lil faster.

If it looks like they are fighting, I would put some bigger shells in.

Why not just split the rock?

Well I change my bag every time they time they start to over fill with water. I have not seen any negative's other then what the cost of the bags are.

Frags I do not need & you can have. I like to buy big pieces of coral or pieces on rocks. I have to pieces that broke off.

I use them. Whats the bad side of them? Only last two or three times after wash, but only like for a week. I like that they make my sump not sound load.

If I do find what is the best way to kill? I dont want to think I have them but they went from great to crap in less the a week.

So I clean my sand bed every 2 weeks when I do water changes. Good or bad?

little_fish, who does not clean it? Also why would it make issues if they start now. I would think getting as much as you could out before med's would be best. Used "Ultralife Red Slime Remover" in my 28G tank & it worked great.

Clean sand really good when doing water change & before adding med's.
