I just wanted to know what's a good heater for a 16g. I used one on my 20g freshwater, had the settings all right but it was giving out more heat than it was sopose to and killed 2 fish.

Ok just got my base rocks from marcorocks.com this morning and wanted to know if i should just place them on top of the others and against the back glass? Cause its gonna be hard to glue these rocks together and then add them in there. Any ideas would be big help to me atm.
