I use 2 MP10wES for my 84g tank and its by far plenty. I used the Ecotech website and inputted demensions. it shows that it will be in an optimal range for most and be on upper power side if going for large SPS tank.

DO you know if the Gen 1 Radions have the storm features and stuff? or is that just the gen 2 and pro's? I have 2 MP10w's getting here in a day or so. so i am evaluating i wont necessarily have alot of SPS mostly LPS and soft stuff

looks like diatoms to me as well. what i did when my tank was new and one small outbreak i took a tooth brush and kept brushing the rocks off and it never grew back.

if your sand bed is stirred up or your not in a hurry you could run your skimmers and mechanical filter to get all the bad shi...crap out of there. only if your not in a big hurry.

everyone says that about kenya trees. but for new reefers many like the wavy and flowing of softies. i say try it for a while and if you dont like it take it out LFS will take it off your hands no problemo.
