when my protein skimmer comes i will run it without the filter for a while to see if there is any change i guess

I was thinking the same too! i jus keep gettin negative comments about canister filters plus my nitrate is 80ppm

Hey everyone i have fluval 305 filter i heard its a nitrate factory my nitrate is high i'm getting a protein skimmer soon should i ditch the fluval 305 filter??

i cut the the frozen squares into 4 pieces. Is there anything else i could feed them

no sump! no skimmer yet i have an algae scrubber jus got it yesterday i feed the fish once a day i feed them frozen shrimp

Hey everyone!!! Got a little issue did my tests a couple times this week PH is 7.8 and NITRATE is 20 ppm my tank is 7 weeks old and i have two clowns and clean up crew im thinkin not to worry since i added the clowns only a week ago any ideas how to bring them to normal?? i also do weekly water...

I'm gonna do corals for sure just researching what kind of light to get its very confusing! I have no sump or skimmer any ideas on lights?
