    Tangs?

Yellow tang, yellow eyed kole tang. Those are pretty safe. I have a regal hippo in a 72g for 3 years now with no issues. Stay away with the name 'powder' don't know to many with long term success.

    Recently Split Anemone

Depends if your planning on keeping it or getting rid of it. Keeping it.... leave it alone. Selling it, put it in a dish for a week to heal up. Best to heal in your tank but not leering it's foot plant on your rock work.

New 55 Gallon tank, compatibility and filtration questions

Welcome aboard nelma. I would stay away from the sea clones as they are a disaster. If you're looking for a cheaper skimmer, try looking at eshoops hang on the back. I like the reef octopus myself but a little pricey if bought new. There are many sites that folks are getting out of the hobby...

    Adding reactor....questions!

Installing it on return side could cause some problems. You need head pressure to push threw the reactor and I would think you would back up the 110. All equipment should be installed pump side.

    Corals overtaking

It's not maintenance to keep those corals at bay, it's warfare. They are very cheap corals and trade in is very little if any for low end. For most, it cost more money in fuel to trade in than the coral is worth. Btw, was that a statement or a question?
