That's what I figured. I did a water change yesterday and everyone except for the wrasse seems really happy. Wrasse is still in his hole, I can see him breathing but he just won't come out. He may be coming out while I'm at work, just don't know what to do.. I feel terrible about it..

Also if you notice my levels the ammonia barely spiked?

Why didn't I see any change in nitrites?

That's what I figured, do I need to change water now to get rid of nitrates?

I used fully cured live rock and live sand which should mean my cycle is short and almost not measurable. The wrasse isn't eating because it was a bad purchase and I should have done more research first. Clown I think will come around he's new to the tank.

I am new to all of this and have been testing my water regularly. I noticed a small spike in my amonia and a spike in my nitrates, but I never saw any nitrites.. I am now starting to see small brown algae spots on my glass and on my sand. Will someone look at this and tell me what the heck is...

What other suggestions besides a clown would you have? I don't want to push my luck by adding two fish right now, so I need one that is going to get along with the cleaner wrasse and not have to be put in in pairs.

Thanks for your opinion!! Thats what I am lobbying for here. I will test again tonight and make sure that everything is all good. Any suggestions on hardy fish (please don't say damsel..) that would make it through a potential ammonia spike? I was thinking a clown?

Yes I did (kind of...), I had a small spike, but nothing really notable. I was told that i wouldn't expierience much of a spike as the rock was fully cured as was the sand. Water tests have all been on par. People have varied opinions on the cycle times and outcomes from the cured live rock...

Will the flow still be ok if i restrict it more like that? The other concern i have is that if i add those baffles it will only leave 8.25" for my refugium area..?
