Those are the adults . They don't usally come in out unless they are ready to breed. And that white tube they made is not movable. Babies float around in the water and the teenagers are the ones u usally see at night out on the glass.

Copods are a sign your doing a great job maintaing your water.! They are very good. Can u tell if the white things have a round twisty shape to them. ? If so then yes copods! Ive had a copod invasion in my take before. If u look closer u may see them crawling around on the glass.

Ive been thinking about this for a while. Did u used a slime coat accelerator or protector in the water?

. What kind of salt mix did u use? And was the water temps the same? Did u use the drip in method? There lots of factors on why they may have died. May even been beer or tea in the water! ;)

Their may have been something in the water that the clarifing agent u used did not nutrilize. Such as traces of anti- freezing agent espcially this winter ! Floride is another big one. U can get a list of what exactly is in your water from the towns water dept. Ive used conditioned tap water...
