I have one powerhead now in my 60g. Should I have 2 now because of my soft corals? How do I know when there is too much flow? Maybe if my fish can't swim against it?
1 or 2 powerheads for a 60g?

You should be fine with 2. When I started my 55 years ago, I had 2 Maxijet 1200's in there. As long as you do not have a sand storm in your tank, you are good.

You should be fine with two as fast said. You should shoot for 25-30 times the flow rate.
