Is it just me or have I seen a LOT of 10 gal tanks popping up in the last two weeks? I was thinking maybe we should have a 10 gal fish tank shot contest! I am sure the moderators can pick this up and add a poll or something. Maybe we do it in march? Let me know what you guys think! (P.S. I don't even have a 10 gal tank, I just like seeing what everybody is doing!)

Yea I noticed that too! You copy cats! Lol just kidding. I know there are at least four of us now that just set them up...maybe in a couple months when everyone is cycled and everything we should do it. That would be awesome!

Join in, K! As to Nano, this is the perfect time to set it back up! We're all starting from scratch right around the same time, so it would put us all on even footing come June.

So are we doing nano as in 5-15 gallons? Cuz someone has a Mr. Aqua and NanoReefer has the 7.5 long I think. It could be even and a great contest!

IDK what do you guys want to do? I think we should have a pretty tight restraint because the difference between a 5 gal and a 15 gal is HUGE. When it's like a 90 to a 120 its not that bad but the stuff you can keep in a 5 is WAY different than what can be kept in a 15. I would say 7.5 to 12.5. What do you all think? Also, I have a few rules that we can all vote on. I think we should have a more comprehensive competition than just who has the best tank. I think we should include these categories. Let's have

Overall tank (so your best FTS)
Parameters (so if your nitrates are at 50ppm, thats bad, 0 thats awesome)
Presentation (everything that isn't your tank so stand, lighting, etc.)
    Best fish
    Best coral

What do you guys think? I think this will really make it a very good competition. Also, I think if you enter, you should have to enter no later than the last day in April. This way, somebody with a 180 can't just grab a bunch of awesome coral, put it in a 10 gal, take some pictures and put it all back and call it their tank. Think that's fair?

PS, My wife just said I should get a 10 gal for the contest so I may just be joining you all! I have a heater, I can get sand, I have a powerhead opening up here next week. I have some dead coral that has turned into live rock so MAYBE I'll give it a shot. We will see.

I'd say between 5 and 10 gallons would be neat.
