10000k or 12000k?

Looking into getting replacement lighting it will be almost 1 year with the ones we have now.The question is which is better 10000k or12000k? Right now we have 2-10000k daylight and 2-460nm antinic t5 lighting. I was wondering what you all thought. :0)

10k is ever so slightly better,either will work.12k has a very slight blue hue,at least mine do.

I would personally go with 12K because I like the bluer color better. It's all a matter of personal preference.

There is really not much difference. Like reef said 12K are a little bluer that 10K. 10k is normally considered "daylights" the closer to 20K the bluer the closer to 6500 the yellower. 6500 is unpleasing to the eye normally but is great for photosynthesis. Either of your choices are a nice happy medium as far as looking good and good for the corals.

i have a 14 k and love it i would do the 12k just because it would get rid of the yelloe tint that the 10k will give you.
