12 gal temp control

Help 12 gallon aquapod heats up to 82. I've installed a fan on top and vented the hood - still getting high temps! and lots of slimy algae. Help please!

I was thinking about getting and iceprobe chiller for my tank.I think this chiller would work nicely for your tank.They run about 140 with the controller.

Thanks for the replies - temps are now starting to balance out and the tank is cleaning up. I may add another fan as the weather gets hotter.
