hi all getting ready to drill back corner of my 120g tank for corner overflow. my question is where the hole placements should be. i want to have the drain & return in the same corner box . would 5 to 6 inches down from top of tank be ok for the 1" drain and will i need to make up a stand pipe to keep it quiet ? as for the return i am using 3/4 snap lock tubing and fittings, my acrylic sump is all done. i bought an acrylic tank and added my baffles w/trap. 40g was largest i could fit. i also am gluing up a overflow pan just in case for under the sump w/a drain into the basement. thanks for any help !:D
