24" T5 or MH?

We have an additional 20 gallon reef tank. Keeping my price low what would be a better buy? We will be keeping softies, and maybe a nem what would be the better light choice?

24" 96W (4x 24W) T5 HO Light Fixture Extendable Series

or

18" 178W Metal Halide Pendant Extendable Series

for 20 gallons those t5's will work fine. you may run into heat issues with a halide over the 20 tank. that being said im a fan of both. But prefer the halide look.

+1...t-5's will probably be better in this situation...or else, look into the marineland led fixtures.

+1 smitty they'd be good for a tank that size.
