29 gallon Bio Cube lighting upgrade question

I was wondering if I ran 2- 24W 10,000K Daylights instead of the one and added a LED Actinic strip. Would I gain anything towards being able to use SPS's. I'm only 14 days into the cycle. Has 3" sand bed with 25 lbs of live rock. Mainly I want to start off with soft corals will this extra day light be ok for them. I want to upgrade the system to full LED when I can afford it. Any thoughts on this?

Personally I'd just wait until you do the full retro fit, that way it won't be an issue. You can get a full retrofit kit that fits in the hood of the bio cubes for less than $300

Yup no problem glad I could help. There's a guy who did this on a locate forum and had a huge build on it and his tank looked great. Hopefully yours will do the same.
