that is true. but for 600 bucks i could make a lighting system with a controler and programable settings. and that is for my 150. when i go to 300 gallions i will be going to get another 600 bucks for added lighting.
For that much you can get better lights. Check out the kessel LEDs. I also wouldn't purchase those because they don't put out any uv light which coral do need for good coloration
After researching ive decieded to go with X3 kessil A350W.. They have 3 types of light.. sky blue which is 10k.. ocean blue which is 15k and deep ocean blue which is 20k.. which ones should i get?.. I was thinking 2 10k lights and 1 15k...
after reading up on these lights.. im going with the Kessil a350w for my 300g.. your able to adjust these lights from 10k to 20k no problem, and their designed for tanks over 24inches in height.. also the wide lense covers an area 4.8 x 6.8 ft in diameter .. Just placed the order for 3 of these babys! :). thanks little_fish for the suggestion
