Thanks Angie...I hope you feel better too.
Anything to help a brother out. Just do me one favor. Take Wonton off the list. Last time she booked a show, she tried to pay me with her credit card miles.
Good luck, Smitty!! I'll keep you in my thoughts.
Not like you specified
Thank you Erin.
And she kept screaming " where's my happy ending daddy"
Worth every bit!!!!!! Woooot!
Lmao...y'all are nuts!
Hoping your surgery goes well Smitty and that you have a nice quick recovery! Glad you recruited yourself two good helpers
Yeah, they're pretty eager to do it...and I'll be watching them like a hawk.
Good luck bro. If you need help, just give me a call.
Thanks Bj...I appreciate that.
Good luck! You didn't have the last one too long ago, did you? I remember talking about it on here. Your family did a fine job taking care of the tank last time -- it will be fine again, I'm sure.
Thanks Sarah...Yeah, the low back was done May/2012, and now, they're redoing the cervical. Good thing is that the tank is self sufficient now and not much maintenance is needed.
Looks like we have a lot in common. I grew up in Oak Lawn and now live in Alsip. I had SW fish and a reef tank from 1986 to 1997 and am just now getting back into the hobby with a 28 gal Nano. I too suffer from back troubles. I had to retire 2 years ago because the pain from working was too great to bear. I have severe DDD in entire lumbar spine and 3 levels in neck. Surgery is not an option for me. I have been reading this forum for about a month now and just found this post. Good luck with your surgery. I will looking for updates on your outcome.
Good Luck Smitty, I'm hoping for a full and easy recovery. Back issues really suck. I was in an auto accident a couple years back and had some major soft tissue damage. It never really healed right, and after a certain point the physical therapists and the insurance basically said there was nothing more they could do.
Hopefully that isn't the end result for you
Welcome fellow South Sider!!!!
Welcome to the site...we're glad to have you aboard. Believe it or not, my tank is therapeutic for me. I wish you the best with your back, and thank you for the well wishes for mine.
Thanks bro, I appreciate that. I'm sorry to hear that about your back, and you're right...insurance companies and jobs will eventually give up on you. My job has tried a few times to get me to retire, but I'm not going so easily.
