400 Watt Lights

My LFS is selling these light fixtures for 200$ each and for all three he'll give me 500$.They come with fans,bulbs,and maybe lunars i forget,should i get them for the 125?Im not getting the odyssea off Aquatraders anymore after Winy and some other people had fires with them.He has three in stock right now.

Why three three light fixtures instead of just one?

Its metal halide and there 400 watts each so would two be good

3 250w would work also.Keep the 400w high,like 24'' at least and check to see if you have heat issue.

yeah, 400s should be at LEAST 18"-24" above the tank.

400's are great but, can you afford the electric bill. 250's should do it for you just fine,But, if you have an open top, dont mind the electrical bill, great buy on the 400's.
