So after a whole lot of thought I decided, I work hard I am going to upgrade. So I went all out. I am now running
50 gal starphire rimless cube
sump
protein skimmer
phosphate reactor
jbj ATO
Finally bought a refractometer replaced the crushed coral with black sand. I am looking at buying a Ro/Di system now but since we are moving in about a month I figured I would wait so I can get a decent sized container to hold all the water. I know it will be a process but in the long run I will save some money doin it. Cycle was quick, only took a little over a week to get everything running perfectly and I just moved the fish over yesterday. Some of my things from my 30 gal never really recovered from tank disaster 2011 so I am hoping a new system will do the trick. Pictures to follow!!!
