It's a dorsea clam. I guess they're the hardest ones to kill. That's why I got it. :) It seems to be doing well...it hasn't opened up entirely yet...but it looks healthy and happy.

those clams are my favorite just because they have the bright spots on such dull skin. The contrast is so cool.

I was told it was a chili cactus coral. That might not be right either, because I was told I bought a dorsea clam...and I guess that was wrong....it guess it's a derasa?
