So i know my tank id pretty new but i am already starting to see somethings that i should change. My #1 thing i would love to change is my sump. I have been doing a bit of looking around and i want to try and build a custom acrylic sump. My main reason for doing this is my skimmer puts out micro bubbles and the only way i am stopping it now is by putting filter material in the bubble trap. Witch kind of works so it gives me plenty of time to think things over before i dive into this new project.

The other reason is i would love to get my fudge in the same tank and at the same level as main sump tank. These two tanks being at different levels i think is also adding to my bubble problem making it worse.

I am just wondering if anyone has any experience working with acrylic and if they have any tips i will need? I do have a table saw and a router.
