ive had a short-spine urchin since day 1 and he has been fine! have you considered using dried seaweed for food if you are worried about him eating?
i would go for it!

Yes I LOVE my ricordia I want to get more already! Problem with the urchin is that none of the stores near me have any right now. I might order one online but I hate paying outrageous shipping fees :grumble:

I just got a brand new LFS like 1 mile from my house (WOOHOO) I decided to pop in and see what they had and they had my purple urchin!!

He is getting acclimated right now I am so excited :bounce:

I know right! He is so cool with his sticky feet. He did knock over all my unglued corals last night LOL going to pick up a super glue gel on the way home.
