Adding Sand to established tank

Is there a way or method to add more sand to an already established tank?

Yes, take a length of PVC pipe and run the sand down to the bottom of your tank. This will minimize cloudiness but the water will still cloud up. It won't hurt your fish. It will clear up in a day or two.

My perfered method is to use a gallon size freezer bag. Fill the bag with the sand, sink into the tank and gently work the sand out.

Use a turkey baster to blow sand off corals and rock.
