Ok, I believe everyone has hoarding tendencies in them. Usually people don't act on it, but I believe most people have something they love to save "for a rainy day or for emergencies", or keep something while thinking "you never know if you'll need it!"

I have SO MANY PVC connectors and bends and valves and tubes and tank equipment! LOL But in all fairness, I've needed them at one point of another :) I have old powerheads & heaters that still work but are too weak for my large tank, lots of airline check valves/flow control valves....let's see....parts for pumps that I have no clue how I ended up with them (spares that came with new pumps maybe?), suction cups, a couple of freshwater filters...

As for non-fish-releated, I hoard scraps of paper :D Paper that dont' make it to the shredder cuz frankly, the kids could use them for their artwork ;)

    So what's your weakness?

I used to have a ton of old tank equipment, like Wonton -- filters I don't use, PVC/connectors/tubing/valves, etc. A couple months ago, I just threw it all in the trash. I was sick of the clutter and having that crap hanging around in the closet!

No, Smitty...it's sick or injured cats! :D

Over the years, I have been decluttering, getting rid of a ton of things in my attic. But I noticed my fish stuff starting to grow. But when I went through them, I threw a few things, but most of them I use, even if just occasionally.
