aiptasia magic trick!

So, I woke up this morning and there was a medium sized aiptasia sitting next to my frogspawn! I freaked out, and drove to the LFS to try to buy some pep's (forgot it was closed...) When I got back, there aiptasia was gone.

I'm 99% sure it was aiptasia, but I couldn't find it again. I think it may be retracted into my rock, but since I've never seen it before and the fact that I haven't seen it in a while makes me wonder if it actually is aiptasia. Normal for them to hide so much? I'll try to get a pic if it pops back up.

it could be....got any pics? They didn't look as ugly as most aiptasia, but I understand its appearance can vary. It was a similar color but had bands of dark on the tentacles. Did not look like the small white feather duster worms I've got scattered on my LR/.

Curly Q's are much larger than aiptasia aren't they. At least mine are.
