Well after taking yote's advice this is how my tank looks now.

Thanks all for you comments and advice.
One other question how long should i have my lights on for, at the moment i have them on from 9am till 9pm (12hours) is that too long ??

If you don't have corals, you don't need them on for that long. I keep mine on for 8 hours a day, and I have a tank filled with corals. There's no need for them to be on for 12 hours, except for your viewing pleasure.
