Ok here is today's test results...weird thing going on with the nitrates. Why would they go down on their own? I haven't done a WC yet.

Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10

Man that chemi-pure really works. I am getting ready to mix the water for the water change that I will be doing tomorrow. Today's test results

Temp: 79.5
Salinity: 1.024
PH: 8.4
Ammonia: 0
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: 0

I'm getting ready to mix the water for tomorrow's water change, then test again. Once I have those results I may be making a trip to Wichita to pick up a fire fish then a couple of snails and maybe a hermit, but the majority of cuc are going to come from reefcleaners.

Yesterday. I am kinda cheating...I'm mixing the new saltwater in a 5 gallon bucket in the bathtub, just in case it goes over the rim, that way it goes down the drain and not on the floor.

Well the water change is done. Here are the test results.

Temp: 79.5
Salinity: 1.025
PH: 8.2
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0

When I go to Wichita, I'm going to try and pick up the API reef tests.
