Anemone died!

Ok so my anemone crawled to the back of my tank and has been back there for 2 weeks I finally found it and I'm pretty sure it's dead?? I have to go to work so I don't have time to tear down my live rock and remove it how long do I have before it starts affecting my tank??

It as soon as it dies, so if it is dead then it has already had a impact the longer it decays the larger the impact remove it ASAP

Dead anemones stink really bad.They also desintegrate when they die so I would remove it ASAP.

I used to import and there is NOTHING in the world that smells as bad as dead anemone or leather coral, NOTHING!! The smell gets on you and the only thing that will kill the smell is lemon oil. I'd always look at the bags before I opened them and you'll only make the mistake of opening an anemone or leather coral milkshake once.

I would venture dead snails are pretty up there with dead nems...
