I think I know which ones you're talking about, Kwater. I have had two of them in the past. If the nem gets off of it it picks them up and places it back upon its shell. The nems are pretty small so even if there was a problem with a nem dying it probably wouldn't cause any harm. As for the crab they can get pretty large and are pretty aggressive at least the ones I have had. I think they might be fairly destructive and are not reef safe.
