Well, it actually isn't white really. It's a very very light shade of emerald green. I think it's absolutely gorgeous actually. It's probably a pretty common variety since it didn't really cost that much. But I like it anyway.

A white anemone with pink tips is not a bubble tip anemone -- it's a condy anemone. Bubble tipped anemones that are white (and not green like Coral Commander says his is) are bleached and unhealthy.

I have a similar looking anemone that showed up on a piece of live rock that i got. Its the same shape but it has a purple body with green tentacles, its only about the size of a dime. Is it the same type?

Yours sounds more like a majano.
If you can post a pic of it,somebody should be able to give you a positive ID.

its really small, about the size of a dime, and growing in the middle of my tank on the side of a rock so its kinda hard to see in the first place, but i will try to get a pic of it.

"Sorry its not the best pic, my camera really sucks at taking close ups"

That may be an understatement. :bounce: I have the same exact problem though.

Sorry I couldn't make out heads or tails.

If it's what I'm seeing,then it is a majano.
Most folks say to kill it with someting like Aiptasia-X.But I never had any problems with em in my tank.
