annoying ammonia tester

on the saltwater master kit.. consisting of the ph nitrite nitrate and ammonia testers... has anyone else had issues getting a clear reading from the ammonia tester... i have a really hard time and it always seems to be between 0 and .25 but it seems like it never really gets all the way to 0.... it never really has its just been lighter than .25

That's pretty common for ammonia test kits, regardless of the brand. A lot of times it can be impossible to get exactly a zero reading.

ok well thats good news... i figured since almost all of my ammonia records say 0-.25 that it has been zero all along... i think i would be seeing alot more problems if i had any amount of ammonia for such an extended period

But your right.Ammonia in the tank for an extended peroid of time would effect all your livestock.
