Anybody got cocktail sauce?

Every time I try to feed my Trumpet corals, my Skunk Cleaner shrimp runs down to pick every morsel of food away from them. I shoo him away with a squirt from my turkey baster but he just waits till I leave the room, then rushes back down to take the trumpet's food! Never mind that I leave a big pile of food right next to the trumpet, or that I drop a ton of food back in the corner where he lives --he doesn't want that food. He only wants the food from the trumpets. What to do?

Use the half bottle method. Cut a 2 liter bottle in half put the top half over the coral put the food in and the shrimp wont be able to get to the food. After the coral has eaten take the bottle out. :twocents:

Lol...mine do the same thing. I guess the name cleaner means they clean corals also.

You could introduce him to my youngest, who doesn't want HIS toys...he wants his BROTHER'S toys! :mrgreen:

The coke bottle idea sounds like a good idea!

Feed the shrimp first.I give mine a tasty krill before feeding my corals.
