I believe they live very well with pistol shrimp, they share the same hole in the sand bed and are very best of friends :D. Captive bred ones will eat mysis and brine shrimp with pellets and all sorts of stuff. But im not so sure about having two, i heard breeding was hard to do, they fight a lot if your tank is smaller than 50 gallons

Nice fish! They are pretty easy to keep -- no special care required. They are known to be jumpers, as others have pointed out.

Still gotta watch that small hole....I've read others having fish jump from the smallest holes (even egg crates).

i have that goby , i love him! except i only see him around feeding with his pistol shrimp haha. very fun to watch though
