API Algaefix??? Will it kill coraline algae?

I have read nothing but good reviews on this product so I think im going to give it a try since I have cyano and hair algae on the spread. My coraline is starting to grow good and didn't want to kill that. Only reason I ask is because I know coraline is an algae as well. Tank is on its 2nd month running, completed cycle and has 2 damsels and no corals.

Nope...coralline is safe.

i used it for awhile and it started to bleach my sps. and that was the only thing i was doing different

I had a big problem with the brown blacket like algae on the sand bed of my tank for like 6 months or more, what I did was turned down all the light for 4 days then turned them on and a week later did lights out for another 4 days and have not had any more algae problem.. do that B/4 you toss any chemicals into your tank it's not worth it
