So basically how many drops it takes to get the water to purple, is what my calc level is correct?

You usually have to multiply it by something.

With the API kit,just count the drops.Then on the instruction sheet,there is a chart,just find the number of drops it took to get to the end color and thats your calcium level.

I think its 20ppm per drop, so 20 drops=400ppm calc. If you get past 25 drops, you've got a LOAD of calc!
