The varmit in the center with the long stalk and many tentacles is. I use a turkey baster with scalding hot water to kill those, but be very careful of any corals nearby. Ive heard of some folks using a medical syringe. Or.. a copperband butterfly

A lot of people try peppermint shrimp, but there's no guarantee they will eat them. Aiptasia-X is also a good product for getting rid of them. I usually use the boiling water method if I can remove the rock, douse the aiptasia with boiling water, rinse the rock with old tank water (right after a WC) and then put the rock back in the system.

I had 9 aiptasia on a piece of rock. Received 2 peppermint shrimp via fedex yesterday (from saltwaterfish.com). This morning I have only 2. Feeling better. :)
