Aquarian's 36g Bow Front

Ok I'm still loving the RW pumps they are quiet and powerful and are easy to overlook in the tank.

The DP-4 is still on week one of review last week was a bit of trial and error on my part not the pumps fault ( my tubing was floating up out of the waterline and dosing air. So I pulled out the water jugs and replaced them with 21 cup Rubbermaid containers, which I made a sleve out of FlowGuard wich keeps the tubing about 1/4" off the bottom.

Next time, drill a 3/8" hole where you want to cut them so it makes a 1/2 moon cutout for fluids to flow through.
I thought about it, and may still make some tooth cuts in the bottom of them but for now they work fine the tube ends 3/4" above the bottom and the 1/4" tubing is about 1/4" - 1/2" below that. I also drilled holes above the water line to allow air into the container.

Ok I seem to be losing 1 DKH of alk in 48 hrs. I think it needs a small increase in the dose. Pump is working nicely. And very quiet.
