What did you do before you started re-aranging, as far has the hermits and snails that could get trapped under the rocks? I always get nervous when I am moving stuff around, I usually take most of the hermits and snails out before I do it.

Also, do you have a sump? The reason I ask is I don't see where your intake is.

Yeah I have a sump -- I have an in-tank overflow box, it's in the right hand corner (it's hard to see, I've tried to camouflage it with coralline and put it behind rocks). It takes up a lot of space, so I do the best I can.

I also have tons of crabs and snails, I just make sure nothing is underneath the rocks before I put it on the sand. I figure they're probably pretty good at fending for themselves.
