Not only will copper leach into the rocks, sand, everything, it can also get into the silicone of the tank and leach out over time. It really is impossible to get out of your tank once you put it in there.

No i definitely plan on listening to you guys. I juat always ask why its my nature. You say dont touch fire and i say why. And now that i know it leeches out ill keep my ten gallon as a Hospital tank and not use the live rocks or sand i have in there. Thanks for all your help guys.
