bad luck?

    so i finnaly got my 2 clowns i said i was gonna get, they are a pair, ones small ones mid sized but i noticed that the big one is constantly opening and closing his mouth and this morning he had long white poop hanging from his behind....parasite???

    just got home they both look fine, and both are eating good idk anymore lol

    +1 fish....white poop usually means internal parasite, but again, if they're eating, they should fight it off.

    if you can feed them peelet food with garlic in it. it helps a lot with fish health.

    Keiz88 is right. I only feed 2 times a day unless i am giving them a treat than it will be 3 times.
    I feed 2 times a week at night using baby brine shrimp. (that i grow) for my corals nightfeeding. I feed the tank at 9 in the morning than at 6 in the evening. if i do a treet it will be at 1 or 2. at night i do it at 11 or 12.

    Once a day or every other day is fine. If you feed too much, you risk overfeeding. I'm down to once a month feeding with my tank.

    Fish are programmed to eat when ever a meal is available.That don't happen every day in the wild,so it's easy to over feed.
    That being said.Just an 1/8th cube of frozen is plenty for even a fully stocked 200 gallon once every two weeks.
