Baffles?

Where can I buy baffles and how should I cut them? I know I should be asking my father these questions but he wants nothing to do with my new tank, unless he's selling it... :sad:

I used plexiglass from Lowe's. They cut them for me at the store.

I actually have some acrylic that my father used for the baffles in my 110's sump. What did the people at Lowe's use to use to cut them?

I don't remember exactly, but it was a big piece of equipment that just slices straight through the plexi.

plexiglass and acrylic can be cut with a skillsaw and table saw...
fine tooth handsaw will work also.. sand edges when done..

Can I use a glue gun to glue them in or do I need to use silicon?

You actually need to use weld on if its acrylic.

I don't see why a glue gun wouldn't work. It may be difficult to reach into the corners and stuff.

Weld-on won't work if you're putting acrylic baffles into a glass tank. Weld-on is used for bonding acrylic to acrylic.

The baffles I have are too narrow so I'll get some new ones. Is plexiglass glass?
