banded pipefish?

ok my freind has a 2 1/2 -3 inch pipe fish im gonna buy for 10 dollars is it ok to put in a 11g with a yellow clown goby,hes already eating frozen right outa the baster

i really like him, the ones at the lfs hide all the time but mine is active all day sucking pods and things off the rocks and when he eats you can hear a lil click noise ill post pics soon

thank you,the pipe fish is awsome i dont think its a expert only fish it just requires a special attention while feeding
