Beach Snails

Hello All,

I live in Atlantic Canada and have access to a fair amount of coast as a result. Beach snails are pretty easy to come by and I was wondering what the pros and cons of putting them into my tank would be? They are periwinkles.

Wont be any pros to those snails.They'll boil to death in your tank.Their a cold water snail and cant handle tropical temps.

Yep. Look at the habitat they are coming from. It probably wouldn't last a day in a reef tank.
