What are the best corals to start with in a low light situation.

Funny you say that, I just got done stringing up some mag-lites over my tank. i hung them from the ceiling and I used silver, blue, and red for the 4th of July, it looks awesome! My tank is the :pooh:! :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Assuming standard, low-end, normal output florescent lighting and low flow (didn't see it adressed)...

WS is right, your lighting will make the difference to what you can keep.
